“I’ve been reminiscing on the wonderful experience of deepening my practice with Sarah Sol lately and felt moved to share. I took her yoga intensive and teacher training program at the beginning of this year and I adored every bit of the experience. The program oozes the joy and love that she and the group have for authentic yoga. Not only did it improved my practice physically but it also improved my knowledge of the human body and an element of self growth that was very unexpected but certainly welcome. Loved the program and all the support from the Rasa team.”

While yoga is most certainly not all about athleticism, the Yoga Intensive Teacher training begins at an intermediate-advanced knowledge base of asana (yoga posture) practice and fundamental philosophies. Nobody cares if you can fold yourself into a pretzel. That said, the physical practices during the yoga intensive teacher trainings are much like they are described, intensive! Therefore a minimum of a 2 year consistent yoga practice is required before beginning the RVY teacher training.
If you are new to the practice (less than two years of a consistent in-studio practice) and are considering a yoga intensive teacher training program, keep coming to classes! Take this time to prepare yourself. Develop your practice, read books from the reading list, get to know your teachers and community.
