Annie Mutchler

Annie began her yoga journey 17 years ago with Ashtanga and Baptiste practices, which grounded her in discipline and structure, before discovering Vinyasa Flow and other creative styles that allowed her to explore sequencing in new and creative ways.

While she was first drawn to the physical practice of asana, yoga soon became much more than movement—it offered her a way of getting to know herself on a deeper level. During her RYT200 training, she studied asana, pranayama, philosophy, Sanskrit, anatomy, and mantra. This deeper exploration revealed the vastness of yoga beyond the asana practice and continues to inspire her to share both the physical and philosophical aspects of the practice with others.

In her classes, she loves weaving together elements of challenge and rest, believing that balance is the key to all things in life. She welcomes students of all levels to her classes through offering variations of asana to meet each student where they are, encouraging them to discover balance on the mat and carry it into other aspects of life.

Recently relocated to Ashland, but an Oregonian her whole life, she looks forward to building connections and community through teaching. When she’s not practicing or teaching yoga, she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, reading, wine tasting, gardening, hanging out with her cats and spending time with family and friends.
